LCD TVs
LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) generate their image by turning on and off thousands of coloured dots in the panel and illuminating them with a backlight. LCD TVs are lighter then plasma, so might suit an installation where there is limited fixing. Also, smaller models are so portable that they can be moved from room to room easily. As the LCD surface is "matte" it reduces light reflection, so LCD can also suit well lit areas.
37-inch and below, we recommend LCD TVs. 42-inch Plasma or LCD - Depending on proposed use and room - larger screens (50 and above) generally Plasma.
